Joelma’s passion for baking began in her
childhood in Brazil, where precious moments
with her mother in the kitchen sparked a lifelong
love for food and family traditions. Life brought
many challenges, but with resilience and faith,
she carried those memories and recipes in her
heart.

Years later, Joelma made the courageous decision
to move to Australia, bringing with her not only
her children but also her dream of one day
opening her own cake shop. What once seemed
distant is now a reality — Joelma’s Cakes &
Brazilian Delights, sharing the authentic flavors
of Brazil with her new home in Perth.
